KMD has Diploma/Degree Programme
Steering Committee which consists of management, lecturers and external
consultants. This committee manages and maintains the quality. This committee
periodically reviews the course, makes suggestions, amends necessary changes
and recruits qualified lecturers, ensure quality directives implementations.
The following points are considered in Quality Management.
Curriculum
design, content and organization
KMD periodically reviews the
curriculum and contents of the courses whether they will appropriate for
Information Communications Technology related fields and KMD provides opinions,
suggestions and additional supports whenever it is feasible.
Teaching,
learning and assessment
Classroom based teaching was
applied in the course. In addition to classroom based teaching KMD also
initiates and encourages the students to learn their self. Because of mature,
independent nature of the students, self-studying can be promoted. Students
can meet with lecturers, external consultants and management if they are
available.
Student
progression, achievement, support and guidance
KMD continuously monitors the
progress and achievement of students. If students absent to attend their
class for long time, if student’s learning ability, progress and achievement
are poor in class, KMD informs the matter to their guardians.
KMD provides necessary supports
and guidance for students. KMD has directions to students about the appropriate
channels for particular concerns, complaints and appeals, details guidelines
for admission, fees, resource access, job opportunity, etc.

Resources
KMD provides handouts, textbooks,
own library, computer usage time, value added courses, etc. as learning
resources.
Seminars
& Workshops
With the support of Myanmar
Computer Federation and Myanmar Computer Scientists Association, seminars
and workshops are frequently held and IT experts from the region are deeply
involved. Students are allowed to attend such kind of seminars and workshops
to increase their knowledge and exposure.
