TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

“For those who are interested in studying abroad and for those who need a Visa to travel abroad, one of the most important requirements is the English Language Test (TOEFL). This test is designed for non-native English speakers and is considered the most important test for the English language.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is an American test that is available in computer-based format. There are two types of computer-based TOEFL tests: Test Center Based and Home Edition. You can find more information about the TOEFL iBT (Test Center, Home Edition) at the following link.”

The TOEFL iBT consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing, and it is a multiple-choice exam.

  • Reading and Listening sections are each 60 minutes long
  • Speaking section is 20 minutes
  • Writing section is 50 minutes

The exam fee is USD 210. TOEFL scores are valid for up to two years, and the scoring scale ranges from 0 to 120

GRE (Graduate Record Examination)

What is the GRE test all about? The GRE test is taken by individuals pursuing MBA programs and those in the field of education. Depending on the program you are applying for, there are different sections in the GRE test, such as verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking. The GRE test measures your ability to solve problems, analyze information, and think critically. Your GRE score is important in determining your eligibility and competitiveness for admission. Additionally, your GRE score is a factor in determining financial aid awards and fellowships. It is important to prepare for the GRE test by studying and practicing sample questions in order to achieve the best possible score.

In the GRE test, basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis are included in the sections. In addition to taking the test, candidates need to prepare for the test by practicing problem-solving and time management skills.

Section 3 of the GRE test includes:

  • Analytical Writing Assessment section (scored from 0 to 6, mean score 4.0)
  • Verbal Reasoning section (scored from 130 to 170, mean score 151)
  • Quantitative Reasoning section (scored from 130 to 170, mean score 153)

The exam has a break time of four minutes. The GRE exam fee is USD 220. GRE scores are valid for up to five years, and the scoring scale ranges from 200 to 900.
